Little Bit, my 100 LB blind lab is now 10 and has been blind since he was 9 months old. It's always been difficult to find toys to keep him busy and happy.
For his birthday, I let him pick out his own gifts at Petco. He does this by smelling something he likes, and bumping it with his nose until it falls off the hook.
A few years ago, he was walking around a corner, his shoulder bumped a Wiggly Giggly ball in the box. He was fascinated by the noise, and carried the ball, box and all, throughout the entire store. He didn't want to part with it at the register, so the clerk scanned it while it was in his mouth. If he liked it that much in the box, I couldn't wait for him to get home and get it out of the box.It was, and still is, his favorite toy. Because it makes noise as it rolls, he can find it easier than one that has no sound.
